Arshavin or Moutinho won't come to Everton, and we couldn't afford them if they did, even if they were free. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them both. I'm glad we finally nailed Manuel (if we, indeed, have), that's like a major signing on its own. Right back needs sorted desperately, as Neville and Hibbert are utterly cr@p. The Carsley role? Yes it would be nice to have a Makalele or Mascherano to fill that gap, but it isn't essential. Different tactics can sort that. Except Moyes is not the greatest tactician in the world. The 2 most important signongs will be DM himself, and hopefully a good tactician as his number 2. As to strikers, agreed AJ isn't up to it, but surely Jimmy Vaughan is due a season without losing a major body part. Please? Don’t be silly.
