Timid Everton Underwhelm on the Big Stage

Everton out fought and out thought in a Dire Derby Day

Everton’s resurgence up the ranks of the Premier League was well and truly brought to an abrupt halt at the hands of Arch Rivals Liverpool.

The Blues failed to take advantage of an extra man in a tempestuous affair and really never got into any type of rhythm.

Tim Howard so often the savior will have to put his hands up for this one as he flapped at a corner on 55 minutes that resulted in the decisive goal. Sloth from the Goonies aka Dirk Kuyt took full advantage with a flicked header to settle local bragging rights for this season.

In a game of sparce footballing ingenuity David Moyes again proved reactive rather than proactive as he kept with his one forward up front until it was too late……

Without doubt a chance missed to get one over the dark side on their home turf
